Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, also called Ashanti was born on October 13 on the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actor. Ashanti's talent was first discovered when she was a teenager. She was signed to Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. In the same year, she appeared as a guest on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song and Ja Rule's Always On Time track, both of which turned into huge smashes.
